Welcome to this site,

You have reached a place where you can start to explore a phenomenon that is called 'ascension'.

Ascension can not only take place on a personal level, but on a planetary level as well. The present heating of our planet is said to be a tangible effect of this process.

You could look at 'ascension' as a biological-psychological-spiritual growth process. Through the understanding and releasing of unconscious material and karma more soul would be able to enter the physical body. In order to be able to have more 'soul' in your body, the body would need to adapt. The ongoing biological adaptation is a crucial aspect of the ascension process. There could be no ascension without vital changes in the physical body.

Exactly one year before the introduction of this initiative I started the so-called 'Center for Ascension-Information and Research' in the Dutch language. This site has become quite extended and it presents (amongst many other things) a step-by-step introduction to the ascension phenomenon. Since I have a limited amount of time available, it isn't likely that all the Dutch pages will be translated into English. This English center will feature different aspects of the study of the ascension phenomenon (IF the phenomenon exists at all), and it will presuppose more knowledge from the reader as well.

Like in many other fields, there are many different opinions on what something entails. The ascension phenomenon is no exception. There are many ways to look at it. The approach I opted for is the following: I have chosen a perspective whose origin can freely be checked and read on the internet. It is the perspective from the 'Spiritual School of Ascension'. This is the paradigm, the working hypothesis from which the ascension phenomenon is studied (and experimented with).

The first section to be made is the one in which aspects of the perspective of this center are compared with other points of view. If you click on the picture of the four women (in the left colored bar) you can reach that section. There is also a section that reflects and discusses ascension related topics. You can reach that part of the site by clicking on the mirrors.

This site is made to study the ascension phenomenon, for if there is truth in all this, it is definitely one of the most impressive phenomena ever encountered by us, humans. Like I said, there are many perspectives on ascension. It is not the goal of this site to make one of these perspectives the big winner. If you have an ascension perspective you can mail me by clicking on the mailbox in the bar. In the future a page will be made in which you can find and probably click the other perspectives.

If you are comfortable with HTML and you feel like contributing to this center, please let me know, for it would be very useful if more people would do research on this topic which is mostly filled with an overdose of 'love and light'-terminology.

In February 2005 I started a section called 'Exploring Ascension'. Although it should have been part of this Research Center I noticed it was easier and less time-consuming to do it in the format that can be found in that section. Perhaps some day the results of the 'notepad'-explorations are transported to this research center.
