WAYS TO DEAL WITH THE MEDIA
Within the ascending community associated with the SSOA it is often recommended to stay away from the media. It would be better to not watch too much television, listen to the radio too much and you'd be better off not reading newspapers.
I have to admit that if you are able to withstand the temptations of the TV and newspapers you indeed have a lot of time at hands to invest in your biological ascension process. If you would invest all the time that you regularly watch TV or surf the internet or read the newspapers in traveling within, you are bound to make more progress than if you allow yourself to be 'energetically drained' by the media. So, I guess it is completely fine if you decide to turn away from society and head towards nature to work on your intentions to clear distorted thought-forms from your system.
Like I said in the article on 'Restructuring Society' it could be very useful to broadcast less harmful thoughtforms into the mental ether of our world, and that can have its influence on the way society as a whole develops. I called this 'the silent approach'.
TAKING RESPONSIBILITY
Instead of turning away from society I think it would be wise for a certain segment of the ascending people to tune into the media in a way that enables one to see through the 'mediapulation'. By recognizing the characteristics of the way the news is brought to us, we could develop alternatives. If ascending initiates would be able to bend the manipulated content into a less manipulated variant they would provide useful examples for other people to follow. In a way you could call the people 'media map carvers' in the sense that they recognize the harmful thoughtforms and they are able to replace them by less harmful ones.
LEARN TO THINK FOR YOURSELF
By providing tools to deal with the ways we are mediapulated ascending people could offer other people ways to learn to think for themselves instead of just swallowing the information provided by the news agencies. Although it undoubtfully is useful for some ascending people to delve into the history of our races going all the way back to our possible seeding some 300,000 years ago, it can also be very useful to delve into the present manipulative thought forms.
If we learn to break through them, more harmful structures are bound to collapse, because I firmly believe that present 'master-slave'-bonds can only persist as long as both parties are willing to play their roles. If the 'slaves' of our world wake up, the 'masters', the ones in power, will have a hard time continuing their rule.
ISLAM PHOBIA: KILLING THE VOICE OF THE SUPPRESSED
The last couple of weeks a new (at least for me) thought-form ripened inside of me. It was after doing some research about the isolation of Hamas, the installation of the undemocratic Fatah-government in Israel and the storming of the Red Mosquee in Islamabad that I remembered a remark by someone which I can't trace back at the moment.
The remark was simple: if there weren't any big enemies, there would be time for those who are repressed to stand up against their oppressors. All those people, mainly poor, would start to bring to attention all the unfair ways they are treated by those in power, the world over. Imagine if the world would actually start to listen to all the 'slaves'. It might easily lead to a domino effect in which the corrupt ways companies and those in power exploit people will surface and the crowds might revolt leading to the downfall of their power.
So, the answer to this was simple: create a new enemy, demonize them and make sure that everybody invests their energy and their fears in them. In the meanwhile those in power can expand their riches and their manipulative rule. Perhaps this is all a bit exaggerrated, but I think it isn't really that far from the truth.
INSTEAD OF KILLING THEM, LISTEN TO THEM
I have come to power the thought form that states that people who turn to 'extremist' muslim organizations often do this out of anger and out of a sense of suppression. I am opening up to the idea that they might have all the right in the world to be angry and to turn extremist, for it might just be the natural way to respond to severe oppression.
Perhaps the Western world doesn't really consist of the 'good guys' we consider ourselves to be. Perhaps, internationally, we really are the cause of the rise of fundamentalism and suicide attacks, because we disregard people, because in our capitalistic greedy hunger for profit we exploit people, the world over under the guise of terms like 'free market'.
I believe that the voice of organizations like Hamas, Taliban, Al-Qaida and what have you, really are voices of those repressed by us. Instead of silencing them with bombs, we should look them in the eye and realize that they are a mirror for what we do to them.
Whenever the media talks about 'extremists', 'crazy bombers', 'terrorists', 'muslim fundamentalism' we should be on our guard: chances are that we are once again manipulated to believe the shared reality that says that we are the good guys killing the bad guys. It is time for the world to listen to the people on the ground instead of listening to the news agencies and the army generals. It is time for the people to start talking and writing about the way we are mediapulated and to offer alternatives. Just the mere thought: "I don't believe that story anymore" will bring about a cascade of change.
And perhaps finally we will move out of all the countries we literally invaded by military force, or invaded through installing fake governments through the use money and threats. I guess that it will only be a matter of years before we are willing to take responsibility for most of the hardships we, the western 'civilized' world have created all over the world.
