In one of the early articles (Living Ancestors, June 2005) I asked a few questions about the nature of the ancestors. I wondered what would happen to ancestors who are from a body that is made out of all kinds of lineages, stemming from various creations. How could they be 'returned' to their place of origin, without being distributed in pieces?

Another question I posed nearly a year ago was about the way they would sustain their existence. Let's assume that the ancestors are astral in nature, just like the Anu when they died. If the Anu needed the physical human beings in order to sustain their astral existence, would it not be that all the ancestors somehow need something from the physical in order to survive?

Not much is said about the nature of the ancestors, nor about the astral planes in the writings of the SSOA. We can read about many invasions and attacks from the etheric and non-physical which we can learn to recognize and intend away. We can also read about the light body or the dreamtime body that is used to travel in the non-physical realms. The Astral planes would have been set up by the Anu in order to continue their existence and they were not part of the original design and they are either already dismantled or on the verge of being dismantled. The enormous amounts of astral bodies still continuing their lives in these astral planes would have drained Earth of much needed chi. Please read the SSoA-excerpts page on Heaven to get a good feel of the perspective. Heaven would have been installed some 100,000 years ago by making people believe there is such a thing as the afterlife, which led to its very existence.

Another part of the SSOA-perspective on the afterlife is that ancestors remain ancestors to those with related genetic lineages. I cannot remember having read anything about ancestors who reincarnated, although reincarnation is embraced as a true concept, not much is written about it. The focus of the SSoA is the karmic information stored in our genetic heritage which we can learn to unfold by tuning into our ancestors, the Earth and our Source, amongst many others. The information needs to be found through physical ancestral connections, not really through soul connections. In fact, not much is said about the mechanisms behind the way soul is guided or directed to certain physical bodies. I remember that it was mentioned that soul tries to find a body with certain genetic karmic themes that would resonate with the themes the soul would need for its own growth.

THE BIRTHING PROCESS
In order to get a better understanding of the way soul might connect to a physical body and to find out more about the way the astral planes are arranged, I think a few other sources are very useful. Let's start off with an element of the WiH-perspective, in which WiH stands for 'War In Heaven', a book inspiritionally written by Kyle Griffith back in 1988. This book is out of print and can be freely read on the internet, from different locations. A Hungarian reader of this site directed me to this location: War in Heaven.

In Chapter 10 of this book, called Theocracy, we can read about a distinction that is made between the astral soul and the somatic soul, in which the astral soul is about the same as the light body/astral body of the SSoA and the somatic soul is much like the etheric body, closely tied to the physical body.

This astral soul or body can travel through the astral planes and it needs the tie to the physical body (through our well-known silver cord) in order to be fed. It is said that an astral body, once disconnected from a physical body, can sustain its existence for about '50 years' in the astral planes, and then it needs to reincarnate again in order to be fueled by the connection to the etheric/somatic body and the physical body.

Astral bodies would be attracted to women during sexual activity and might attach to the somatic/etheric body of women, and when actual conception occurs, hormonal information would be send to the somatic body which allows for the 'sustenance' of this 'external' astral body through the second chakra-center of this 'to-be-mother'. When the fetus is developed far enough the attached astral body can connect to this new life in order to be fed. Sometimes an astral soul would enter just before the birth of a baby, and sometimes no soul enters at all, which would lead to the creation of one by the somatic/etheric body.

I don't know what to think about this possibility yet, but I tend to allow it in my paradigm, for it is useful to see a phenomenon that might explain quite a few things about the interaction between the astral and the physical/etheric world: the astral world would to some degree be dependent upon the physical/etheric life in order to survive.

This makes sense from the SSoA-perspective: the false gods would have created their 'castles in the sky', their creations in the non-physical, and they couldn't have sustained these castles without the use of the chi of physical/etheric people. That's why they would have stimulated the increase of human beings on Earth: to be able to build more and more in their non-physical and possible partly astral world.

In the WiH-chapter on 'Theocrats' I mentioned above, it is suggested that there are quite a bunch of people in the astral planes that are very reluctant to return to Earth. Even though their astral body would need the physical in order to be energized again, they prefer not to enter the physical, mainly because the changes are that they will lose their memory, at least for a while. The birthing process isn't really a nice one either. Most of all they would also lose their astral freedom and their powers 'up there' in this astral heaven, in which they more or less would reign.

In order to sustain their existence, without the need to reincarnate, they have developed another method, and that method can be called 'astral cannibalism', or in other words they would suck the energy out of mainly 'lost (astral) souls' in order to survive.

Now that isn't a nice mode of thinking, is it? Fortunately most of the astral souls residing in heaven can withstand these astral cannibals called 'theocrats' and they would not be able to override the conscious will of those embodied in the physical, like you and me. That is reassuring, but if you think of the SSOA-perspective, many tales are told about etheric blood sucking, so I tend to think there is a lot going on in those realms, and I also think that those astral guys prefer not to have this information spread out widely, for we just might find a way out of this astral mess.

Perhaps a way out of this is by ascending, in the sense that this co-dependency of the astral world with the physical world is the result of a fall in consciousness. Perhaps there was a time when both the astral and the physical planes weren't divided, but one. There is more to follow in these astral explorations.

If you are familiar with the 'WiH'-perspective, the M5-perspective (see Matrix 5: Quest of the Spirit) or the Robert Monroe perspective and you think you have something useful to add, please mail me by dropping a letter in the box below.
