INTRODUCTION
After having been on vacation for a couple of weeks I decided to tune into the South African vibrations again and watch some new videos. I quickly noticed the addition of dozens and dozens of new interviews. Since I prefer to take the presented concepts seriously I decided to write an article as soon as there is enough to write about. Well, after having seen the first eight Anton LaVey interviews and the first 6 Veno interviews on Structural Resonance I decided it was time to start writing. This page reflects on the way words, language, the mind and consciousness systems are used by some interdimensional fellows through the interdimensional portal.
LANGUAGE
In a video by 'Veno' (Structural Resonance, part 6) in the series on 'structural Resonance' we can hear a few interesting concepts that I would like to reflect upon. The first idea is about the way language and words are portrayed by Veno.
Before I continue I would like to stress that any comments that I make on the ideas and thought-forms expressed through this interdimensional portal are aimed at the 'entitities' or 'dimensional beings' that speak and not at the South African Group itself: she only 'lends' her body to give others the opportunity to share some thoughts. Although it is tempting to regard these beings with their ideas with reverence they are as likely to have distorted reality perspectives as well (see May I Have this Interdimensional Dance).
For me it is unclear what is the shared reality of the people engaged in this Desteni-project. Which 'interdimensional' ideas are embraced and which aren't remains vague to me. Not that it is really that important to know what everybody in the South African Group thinks, it is more useful to weigh the usefulness of the concepts that are presented through the interdimensional portal. They did however develop a kind of jargon that presently cannot easily relate to. The main reason for not using their terminology is that I think that by using the words and jargon of certain people you are likely to embrace their reality perspective as well, and I'm not ready to do that just yet.
This brings us back to language and what Veno had to say about it in the abovementioned interview. After having given a description of his perception of the unconscious mind and the subconscious mind he said that the conscious mind set in at about the age of three or four. He goes on to say that the introduction of words create a separation, a separation between the picture and the words that represent a certain picture or image. The child would start to separate from being part of the living world to become someone who talks/thinks about the living world.
Like I have already mentioned in the article An Ascending or Ending World I cannot help but get the impression that there is some bias against the act of thinking and consciousness. Consciousness is often linked to 'systems' and thoughts are often the results of these consciousness systems, which appear to be something 'bad' altogether. Now, not only thoughts but words are deemed to be the result of these consciousness systems. The development of a conscious mind is also often portrayed as something distorted and mechanized.
This bashing at the mind and its products is getting slightly annoying to me. The main reason for this is the way I prefer to regard the role of the mental body in the whole. Like I have said many times before the role of the mental body would be to integrate the experiences of all the other bodies and sources of information (creative/intuitive/emotional/soul-group/ancestors). This can only be done through the use of words, which is a necessary attribute of the mental body. Without it a human being would not be able to think or to share experiences and thoughts with other people. To read more about this read Aligning the Mental Body.
Of course many thoughts and ideas are quite distorted and mechanised, but that doesn't mean that thoughts are distorted and mechanized by definition. I would prefer to compare thoughts to money: you can do 'good' things with it and you can do 'bad' things with it. That doesn't mean that money is wrong, it only means that you can use money in various ways. The same goes for the concept of the conscious mind. I regard the conscious mind as a prerequisite for living a life in our world. The conscious mind is not by definition distorted or mechanized, but it can become that way through all kinds of ways.
CONCLUSION
I think it is not a constructive approach to regard the mind as something that is by definition distorted. Even though I would easily admit that many of our thoughts are distorted, this doesn't mean that the concept of the mind is distorted. For me it is more likely that the mind has been abused with all kinds of harmful manipulations making it quite difficult to think harmlessly. The solution of these distortions should be found in the transcendence of these distorted thought-forms and habits by the conscious mind, and not by throwing away the conscious mind altogether. The mental body, when used properly and in alliance with other 'intraselfular' parts seems to be a neccessary partner in the lifting of distortion out of our collective fields. It should be treated with respect and not as a foul criminal.
I posted this article in the forum of the South African Group: you could take a look at some of the responses: Forum Topic: Hit the Mind Once Again.
