When I look back on the topics I covered sofar, many can be considered as 'hard', in the sense that psychological, spiritual themes on consciousness-expansion are not often mentioned. That could suggest that not much love is mentioned in channeled messages or that I have just tried to pick out those topics that were most easily marked out. Of course the second option is true: most of the channeled messages glimmer with love and kindness, and perhaps my male attitude slightly ignored these matters, whereas they are of the most importance! So this page deals with a 'love' topic, namely the love for yourself. The 'saying': you can only start loving someone else, when you are able to love yourself seems to be a central issue. I hope you enjoy the few excerpts I selected!
Kryon says the following in the 'Power of the Human Spirit' channeled through Lee Carroll in Toronto, Canada, somewhere in 1996/97:
"This teaching session is about the power of the enlightened human being. You will hear me say this many times: You have no idea how powerful you are! There are many in this room who must pass the test of self-worthiness, and you know why this is. It is because we have the forerunners in this room- the ones who have awakened first - the ones who have seen 'who they are' first. And you, dear ones, are the ones who have spent lifetime after lifetime after lifetime on your knees before God in the monasteries of the past - even some of the doubters! These are the past-life experiences that make you feel unworthy, for again we say that you have spent many hours and days and weeks on your knees in the past. Suddenly we now tell you that YOU are the exalted ones.- and we wish you to understand that we are here to honor you for your divinity. For the work is clear - what must be done on the planet - and it's clearer all the time what you must do. It is personal work - a work that turns inward. It is a work that tells you, 'Oh dear ones, sit in the chair of worthiness.' The chair of worthiness will beget healing, which will beget peace, which will beget abundance. All this centers around your realization of being in that chair." (Kryon, 1997, Partering with God, book 6, p.40-41)
In Barbara Marciniak's 'Family of Light' (1999) she channels the Pleiadeans who say the following on the importance of loving yourself:
"Remember, you choose when to be born, your own divine moment; you map yourself through eons of existence, and then by some fixation of reality, you forget. You forget so you can live. Periods of living with forgetfulness have their tests within corrals of being, and now the corrals are being knocked down because of the winds of change are here to disperse your thinking, your perceptions, and your ideas of yourself. You must learn to believe in your own uniqueness, your ability to create, for genius is sprouting inside of you.It is important to love yourself and love what has happened in your life, to vibrate with a frequency of acceptance and understanding and to find the lessons within experience. This attitude will create wellness in your being; for loving yourself enhances your immune system, changes your cells, and allows you to become immune to toxicities, because the frequency of love is the most powerful force in existence." (p.98/99)
