In October 2004 I received an email from South Africa by Tehemias. He put forward two interesting issues, the first one he had already written in a guestbook entry, and the second one was given in an email. This page deals with both themes which are related to the study of the SSOA-material at this site. First the issues are presented and then I give some comment. Tehemias has become a member of the Research group.

The first theme brought forward by Tehemias is related to the way the SSOA deals with money. Here's the text copied from the guestbook:

I think this is an excellent piece of work! I think you have a knack of sifting through a lot of information and getting to the core issues. And I applaud your persistence on remaining objective and open-minded on these matters

I would like to comment on the SSOA material:

I have waded through the material about Sananda and some other parts of the site… just a brief skim to get a feel for the material… and, obviously like yourself, do I find a huge schism between this material and most of the others. And, like yourself, do I wonder who has the “real story”…?

So how to rate the SSOA?

Well how about your law of consistency? What I mean by this is the following: these people tend to imply that they concentrate on the ascension thing so much so that jobs and the like becomes less important… (this is the impression I got in my brief reading of some of their material). This is wonderful, as someone keeping down a 9/5 job to pay my way, I have always admired the idea of just doing “spiritual work” and miraculously getting the house and clothes and food I need… I really do. Sounds like some place I would love to be. And so when I took a look at how to obtain their self study program (to get to this wonderful place) this is what I found:

Continued receipt of the most recent materials and sharing occurs into the future for one year following registration, and if one attends Conclave or participates in the Supplemental Reading Program, there is no added cost for continued receipt of the materials into the years ahead.

COST FOR SELF STUDY Donation $320 US ($350 Canadian/Australian Donation) Includes 60 minute soul purpose reading with Mila and Oa either in person at Conclave or over the telephone.

What a downer! I was rather surprised to find them using “new speak” of “donations” and mixing it with “costs” (just to keep things legal?)… I mean, a donation in my dimension is whatever you feel like giving. And a rather steep “donation” at that, considering 1.) they got the material from somewhere else and 2.) they are not “of this world, only in it…” .

I don’t know, to be honest, this alone does tend to raise my alarm bells. But then, I am dealing with my kumara of fear of death, so if I miss this assertion because I couldn’t afford their self study course donation then hey, I trust the central sun will give this electro-magnetic soul another place to get “there” :)

For readers who are not really into the matters that are discussed here, you could get a better understanding if you read through some pages in the SSOA-section of this site. I speak of 'the law of inner consistency' referring to the idea that any theory, no matter how strange it may be, should be consistent internally. So, if you read in the articles from the SSOA about balanced giving and receiving, then it stands to reason that this principle is upheld in as many ways as possible, not just in theory, but in practice as well.

You wonder who has the 'real story'. I can't tell and I don't feel like waging a war on who has the real story. For me, the SSOA-story is the most impressive story I have come across and that is why I have dedicated so much time into studying and structuring the material. Of course everybody is free to have their own real story. As long as people treat this 'SSOA-perspective' with respect I will try to respond to issues brought forward. Even if it were only to 'test' the strength of the perspective, or to show the weaknesses.

You mention the Self-study program that is offered by the SSOA. Even though I am very interested in the material I did not do the self study program myself. I have a number of reasons for not doing the self study program at this time. The first one is that there is such an huge amount of information freely available at their site that it will take me years and years to understand and experiment with it. That is one of the things I like about the SSOA: the free availability of the information. Because it is said that it would be quite useful if more people get interested in the possibility of an ascending Earth and the ways to ascend yourself as far as your genes allow you to ascend.

Another reason not to pay for the self study program is that I would mix the information with the information on the site, and I don't think that is fair to the SSOA. I guess the information in the Self Study program is more personal, and has more personal experiences of the people who try to ascend. I can fully understand that you don't want all that published on-line.

The directors of the organization, Mila and Oa invest nearly all of their time in map carving the ascension process, and they obtain very useful and intriguing information during their ride. I think it is only fair that if you want more of them, than you need to pay for it. This sounds like 'balanced giving and receiving' to me. They are definitely part of this world now, and they need to pay for their living as well. So, they make CD's and they provide ways for people to assist them in a more personal way. To me it sounds fair to ask money for it. I agree with you that the word 'donation' is misleading. James Twyman uses this word often, but when you ask if you could pay less for a course, you get no for an answer. I would prefer the word 'cost' and not 'donation' as well.

In order to 'get there' you don't need to do the Self Study Program. I think the information on the net provides more than enough information. But, if you prefer a more personal approach, or if you don't have all the time to read through it all, the Self Study program can be quite useful, I think.

Like you, my alarm bells are ringing as soon as I see that 'spiritual information' that is given by spiritual beings or in this case our Earth (amongst many others) in order to reach many people needs to be paid for. If this being or source really wants the information to be brought forward it should be easily available for everyone who is interested. Take a look at the site of Dr Joshua David Stone for instance. He has ascension classes, but there is hardly any article to be found on his website. You need to buy his books, DVD's, CD's or follow his classes. This is not the kind of ascension I would like to experiment with. Now, that's when my alarm bells start to ring!

I guess your last paragraph is slightly ironic because of these disturbing bells that were ringing.

The second issue that Tehemias brought forward is one with cosmic proportions. Here's a part of his email:

I would like to talk about the Karen Danrich information. As you can see from my guestbook reply, I’m sceptical about it. I’d like to employ some simple reasoning as to why I’m sceptical: let’s take this material’s position on Sananda for example. First of, my feelings towards Sananda is one of indifference, but I would like to use this as an example. This material implicates a delusion of cosmic proportions, doesn’t it? Maybe I have been suckered, maybe billions upon billions upon billions upon billions have been suckered, could also be, but if the big guy/girl from the central sun or wherever, didn’t intend the suckering to happen, in other words wasn’t in on it somehow, then he/she sure did a lousy job to allow things to go THAT FAR. Personally, I don’t buy that. I’m part of the big guy/girl (as are all of us), and I for one would certainly not have stood by while my creation is jeopardized by some joker form another creation. It does not compute :) But hey, maybe I’m deluded. :)))

A book that I really enjoy (again and again) is Robert Shapiro’s channelling of Zoosh. The book is called: “The Explorer Race”. He has a great perspective on these matters, a large perspective. And one that certainly gives heaps of meaning to being human. Is it true? Who knows, but if I could choose, the Zoosh view would be my choice ­ and I don’t think the Mila one. Can we choose? Now there’s a brain teaser for your site… LOL

MY REACTION:

Many people from the metaphysical community are not that indifferent to Sananda and ascended masters. I used to love his messages of love and light, and his words on listening to your heart and so on. But after getting acquainted with the SSOA-material I had to admit that many messages contained the same kind of information, and that I had trouble remembering what was said exactly. The vagueness of their description of the ascension process versus the interesting results of the SSOA's approach was decisive to me. I am not indifferent to Sananda and the ascended masters, I consciously try to avoid them.

Well, anyway, you are right that there is a delusion of cosmic proportions. As far as I understand the material (and there still quite a lot I don't grasp) there are three 'forces' that are needed to hold a creation: you have the creative principal, the genetic transcription principal (to make ideas 'tangible') and you have the upholding principal to stop the creation from imploding.

Then you have the Tao. A being that makes creations in order to learn from them. In a matter of speaking he breathes these creations in and out. This Tao is not perfect otherwise it wouldn't be able to learn new things, right?

So, this Tao creates Great Central Suns on lower dimensions. These are 'ascended' back into the Tao after some while (time and place doesn't exist, they say, but I don't understand it, so I continue to talk about time and place if you don't mind). Now, for some reason not all lower dimensions of some creations were breathed in. They were left behind and after a while they lost the energy of their Great Central Sun. They were stuck in some place in the universe without anyone knowing of their existence.

You can imagine how you would feel to be stuck like that. One of the parts were living by the principal of upholding a creation. The way the do that is by keeping 'the space between'. They haven't got a clue about creating, or changing genes, they only know how to keep the space between. Well, there was a lack of energy, so they decided to break themselves up. Some part of themselves was 'energetically eaten' in order for the rest to survive. You see this phenomenon in some survival movies.

They learned that by doing that they were able to continue their existence. They traveled around and noticed the energetic borders of another creation, of another Great Central Sun, not written with their signature, but energetic nonetheless. They used their technique to 'eat' from the sides to become bigger themselves. The problem being that even when there was enough energy available, their desire for swallowing energies and complete creations continued.

Somehow the communication between the Center of these Great Central Suns was lacking, for it didn't notice the loss of lower dimensions. Many in the higher dimensions regarded the lower (more physical) dimensions as 'shadow' realities, that were a mere shadow, and not really existing.

So, it was this combination of arrogance, ignorance by the higher dimensions of the Great Central Suns together with this unknown principal of conscious beings who existed in realms that were thought to be empty that created one fall of the other. I believe it was even mentioned that certain Great Central Suns were designed by certain parts of the Tao to be used for chi-consumption. They were not made to learn more, but simply to be destroyed for their energy.

So, the Tao discovered that parts of him created these Central Suns and these acts would be in the process of being rectified. The disregard for the lower dimensions would be a position that would still be quite popular in the higher realms, but in order to 'wrap up' a complete creation, all parts, even the most dense need to ascend upward, back to the creation, otherwise you end up with 'conscious activity' in places where you would want to launch new creations, with all kinds of disturbing intermingling.

Well, Tehemias. I'm not that ascended to really grasp all that the Tao has learned so far. But I am willing to 'buy' this theory as a working hypothesis. The funny thing is, that the further you would ascend, the more you would understand based upon your own attained knowledge, the knowledge of your ancestors etc.

I haven't heard of Zoosh before. You seem to like his messages. You will most likely still prefer his view after these words of mine, but I hope you can understand why I hang on to the SSOA-perpective, because it is quite satisfactory for me.
