If you like the SSOA-material and you appreciate my work I always enjoy receiving an email from the few people who are actually into this material. In february 2005 I started a section to explore the ascension phenomenon even for people who are critical to some aspects of the SSOA.
On this particular page you can also find out more about the way the material presented by the 'spiritual school of ascension' is studied.
The pages that are only filled with material received by Karen Danrich are given an easily recognizable look: the lila/purple koala in the background. If you see a page with this background you immediately know that it only contains Karen Danrich material. If you don't resonate with her information you can use this background cue as a sign to turn to another page.
Another reason for introducing this page lies in the possibility to explain a certain number of ideas which return regularly across her material. If I can explain them on one single page I don't have to repeat them on all other 'koala-pages', which makes it easier for me and less disturbing for those who are already quite familiar with the vocabulary and 'thought forms' used.
In November 2004 the material from the Spiritual School of Ascension has become the working hypothesis for the 'Center of Ascension Research'
For a personal note. Besides the rather 'objective' work on this site, I study the material subjectively by experimenting with the ideas presented, and this prompted a very interesting ride for my personal life. I even started to write about it in december 2004. You could take a look at 'Walk of a Gibbon'.
In April 2005 an ascending friend of mine asked if I would mind to grant her some space on my site to share her thoughts on her own ascension process. I welcomed the initiative right away. Don't hesitate to read: Ascending Human Diary by Monique Spangenberg (Started April 2005).
GENERAL ISSUES REGARDING THE STUDY OF CHANNELED MATERIAL
When you come across channeled information the strangest ideas are presented. That makes it interesting to read and it requires an open mind. The basic way I try to study and evaluate a certain source is by checking its 'internal consistency'. Let me give a small example: A source claims that Jesus was a woman with 8 children. That is an interesting idea and it is worth considering as long as the same source doesn't claim later that Jesus was a man who didn't even marry. This goes against the principle of internal consistency. Whenever a source presents conflicting ideas it loses credibility points in my view.
Another way of looking at channeled information is to check its 'external probability' that is, how likely are certain claims in the light of everyday-knowledge? If a source claims that the world was created only 1000 years ago, that makes the source less credible for me as well.
Then you have the possibility to compare the contents of a certain channeled source with other channeled sources. If 10 sources speak of the possibility to activitate 12 DNA-strings and one source says that you can activate 9, that is remarkable. One the one hand it makes it more likely that the shared ideas might have some truth in them, on the other hand there might be the possibility that sources 'copy' from one another in some subconscious way, and the source talking about 9 strings could have had access to new territory not yet explored by other sources.
Then there is the 'gut feeling' which is often mentioned as a trustworthy sign. If some material doesn't feel right, it might be a sign that it indeed isn't from a trustworthy source. You, however, don't need a psychology degree to see the danger in this: if you come across material that you don't like because it doesn't sound happy and loving, or if some material arouses something in your unconcious that you are not willing to face, it might be too easy to push material aside as not trustworthy.
Another thing that I consider a sign of a trustworthy source, is the amount of new information given in a message. If a source keeps on telling the same story, over and over again, if you have trouble remembering what actually is new after reading a channeled message, I think it could be a sign of a source that has a limited potential. It might be a sign that you have outgrown this source and that it might be time to move on to another one.
ISSUES PERTAINING TO THE STUDY OF KAREN DANRICH MATERIAL
There are a number of things which I have found to be useful in the study and evaluation of the material channeled through Karen Danrich (at www.ascendpress.org ).
Below are the pages which only contain Karen Danrich material:
