When I started with this 'Exploring Ascension'-section I wanted to let my own feelings of sovereignty (or at least some level of sovereignty) rule what kind of issues were going to appear in the section. I prefer to invest some time in talking about things that some people might call details. This page is about the conflicts that could arise when my own feelings of sovereignty may not always fit the content of other material. In this case I would like to share some thoughts on the inner conflict that I felt when I allowed some critical thoughts about the SSOA to play around in my mind.
Let me first tell you that I truly have a deep respect for all the work Mila, Oa and all the others involved in the SSOA are doing and have done in the past. The results of many years of ascending are very impressive indeed. They have given me the opportunity to actually activate my own ascension process with some biological changes appearing in my body. The material resonates so much with me that I thought it more important to invest in the ascension process than to invest in my professional career.
So, the work of Mila and Oa really means a lot to me. But, I guess that as a result of the ascension process I started to develop some level of sovereignty that allowed me to be critical about some aspects of what is written in the numerous articles on their site at www.ascendpress.org. To write about some things in a critical fashion almost feels like betrayal. I mean, a lot of sources in the metaphysical community speak about ascension, but I tend to think that the SSOA is different because it is so detailed and not filled with an overdose of 'love-and-light-terminology'. So, you first have the phenomenon that the concept of ascension is laughed at by the majority of people living on our globe today. Then you have a small group of people who 'believe in' or 'are open to' the concept of ascension in the metaphysical 'love-lightworker'-fashion and then you have a minority group that works in the SSOA-way.
I think the SSOA is doing extremely valuable work and because of the relatively small group of people I think the organisation is rather fragile. That's why I think Mila, Oa and all the people in the SSOA should not be distracted by too much questions and possible inaccuracies in the work. Despite these possible inaccuracies in the material there are too many valuable discoveries being made by the organisation to let the process be delayed in any way.
That's why I have decided not to contact Mila, Oa or any other people in the Group Mastery or Self-Study group about these issues. I guess it could be the task of other people who are not directly involved in the SSOA-organization to question certain things that keep reappearing in the material. It should not turn into a group of critical sceptics who only tear apart everything that seems odd. No, it should be a bunch of people who have attained a certain level in their own ascension process which allows them to personally check certain themes with their own genetics, their own ancestral knowledge.
I think it is vital that people who have reached a certain stage in their ascension process go out and check the teachings of the SSOA with their own inner understanding, their own (over)soul-wisdom. If the SSOA is correct there are many lineages involved in humanity today (see Lineages) and I guess it could be possible that other people would discover other aspects. Certainly people who portray characterics of biological ascension and who have never even heard of the SSOA are very useful in this context. How do they express what they have discovered? How do they describe what they are experiencing: what have they learned?
When you take a look at the Unity/Polarity checklist of the SSOA you see the opposites of Blind Trust/Trust and Distrust being balanced into the term called 'God Goddess All that Is'. At this stage in my ascension God/Goddess All that is doesn't mean much to me. If I were to use a word to balance Blind Trust and Distrust I would call it 'Sovereignty' or 'trust' in your own expanding connection to some higher truth. Because it may be tempting to (blindly) trust the wisdom of Mila's transmissions because of her highly advanced state of ascension, especially compared to your own, or at least my level, it could lead to a neglect of your own sovereignty.
Mila speaks about the guru-concept and that people are not to turn into some blind disciples believing everything the leader says because of her or his 'high strandedness'. If I understand Mila correctly she prefers people who try to verify and check all the things with their own inner wisdom. This is one of the factors that has led to the development of this exploring section. Exploring ascension information critically and respectfully by comparing it to the inner wisdom, the sovereign discoveries of other ascending people.
