Trying to Patch up the Emotional Body

INTRODUCTION
After taking more distance from the Desteni group I was able to embark on another issue that was also triggered by the evolving paradigm of the Desteni group. One of the key elements in their approach seems to be that it would be better to not have any thoughts, feelings or emotions. They would all be the result of what they call 'mind-systems', blocking the contact with the true self.

Although there really are quite a few interesting ideas expressed through this group this idealization of the road to thought/feeling/emotion-lessness was too much at odds with the reality paradigm that I have developed during the years. Within my paradigm intentions are powerful tools of the mental body, feelings and emotions are aspects of the emotional body and they belong to us as much as our lungs, kidneys, brains and heart belong to us. To kill off the mind and emotions would be like intending the removal of the lungs, the heart and the brains out of ones body.

This page tries to explore the ways of the emotional body. Which approach could be useful in integrating this body into our overall-system? Here I use the term 'system' to describe the complete array of bodies that would be part of us as opposed to the negative connotation that is given to the term by the Desteni group (not only do they cover the term 'system' in darkness, but also terms like consciousness, mind, thoughts, feelings, emotions, soul are also used in a rather negative fashion).

DISDAIN FOR EMOTIONS
Not only the Desteni group advocates the idea to see emotions as something to be removed, also oKa has previously mentioned the idea that both the mental and the emotional body were to be regarded as 'lower' subtle bodies (see link above) which would only be here because of the distortion that is still present in our genes.

THE FREEDOM TEACHINGS PERSPECTIVE
In the article 'Four FT-Mind Compoments' you can read an introduction to the idea that within the Freedom Teachings a distinction is made in four components of the mind. One of the components that could probably be compared to the mental body is the one that is called the Reasoning mind that is considered to be the component that is able to assimilate data, translate information and to manifest in reality.

Another component that is described is the one that is called the 'Instinctive' mind which would carry the emotional and intuitive functions. Let's see what kind of role this mind-component would have according to the FT:

Most important function: to relay information from the SoulMatrix/Superconscious Mind to the Cellular Storage within the body/the unconscious mind. Emotions and Intuitions represent translations of information from the Soul-Matrix to the cellular level. This same 'download'-process would occur in the instinctive behavior of animals.

Due to genetic manipulations in the past the impulses from the Superconscious Mind cannot be completely transferred to the Cellular Memory of the body. In a way the impulses pile together in the bio-energetic field where they create an unorganized chaotic energy between the body, the personality and the Soul Identity.

The memory of the multidimensional experience, the dream reality and the thinking of the Superconscious Mind has become intertwined and it may look rather fragmented in the eyes of the Reasoning Mind. On top of that the suppression of emotions and intuitions add to the distortion of the Instinctive Mind and could create physical, emotional, psychological and memory distortions within the identity.

Techniques of Keylontic Science can be used to by-pass the chaotic energies within the Instinctive Mind in order to reach for a better communication between the Body, Reasoning Mind and the Super Conscious mind. Other DNA-techniques can be used to correct the distortions within the Instinctive Mind.
(loosely translated from pp. 147-148)

As you can see from this description the situation of our emotional body doesn't look too bright. It seems therefore understandable to want to be very careful in dealing with this emotional field.

THE EMOTIONAL BODY FROM THE SSOA-PERSPECTIVE
According to the SSOA there was a time in our past that there was no distinction between the mental and the emotional body (see link above). From the second ascension transmissions we can read a lot more about the importance of dealing with emotions properly:

In order to ascend, all vibrations must flow through one's field. Because vibrations equate to emotions, this also means that one must allow all emotions. All emotions are related to specific lessons. A good example of such a lesson is the vibration of anger. Anger is red and brings forth change. A higher octave of anger is forgiveness which is pale pink in color. Forgiveness also brings about change. Forgiveness cannot be embodied until anger moves through the field allowing the denser form of red to be transmuted to a form of pink in vibration. And so it is with all emotions and all frequencies.

Pain is energy that has ceased to move and is black in color. As one moves the energy that has ceased to move, anger first comes forth. Anger is the natural response to being violated and put into pain. The pain was recorded because one was violated at an earlier juncture of their life experience or within a past life experience within their genetic family tree. However, the pain was never felt or experienced at the time the violation occurred. As the pain moves, the anger of being violated is felt first, followed by the pain. As the pain releases, joy follows. A catharsis of emotion always leads to peace and a newfound state of centeredness.

As initiates master the emotional body, they will learn to be at peace with whatever emotions are flowing in the moment. If they are in anger, they are angry. If they are in pain, they cry. If they are in fear, they feel their fear. If they are at peace, then they are peaceful. It is in the feeling of such energies as they move that they then can be transcended.

The difficulty with emotions is ascertaining whose emotions one is feeling. Oftentimes, it is the nature of those who are overly emotional to have many emotional bodies of others within their field. As such, they also feel the emotions of everyone else. A quick discernment of the emotions of others is whether or not the emotion moves. If one cannot move the pain, anger or fear in a catharsis, it is a sure sign the emotion belongs to someone else. In such a case, one can send the emotion of another back to the source. We also recommend sending their emotional body along with it and subsequently erasing all ties to such an emotional body within one's field.
(From Mastering Harmlessness, part 3, which has been recently removed from the SSOA-site itself)

CONCLUSION
So what do we have here? We've got perspectives that say it is better to circumvent the emotional arena, others seem to say that due to genetic manipulations in the past the emotional field is not working as well as it could have. The SSOA seems to say that emotions are needed in order to transcend certain pain/anger.

If I put all these points-of-view into one big bag and mix them up and add a bit from my own experience it leads to the following approach that I want to try out in the future. I hold on to the idea that emotions/feelings are a necessary and useful part of being human. They can be very constructive in working out certain stagnation and distortion, but it is far from easy to interpret these emotions and feelings.

For now there seems to be two basic kind of emotions:

  • Constructive Emotions. Emotions/feelings that stem from the soul-level, trying to either store something in the physical body, or to direct attention of the (aligned) mental body for a certain theme. It can also be emotions that surface because of the release of certain pain or stagnation within the physical body due to the ascension process, or simply because of the interaction with people around you.
  • Unconstructive Emotions. Emotions/feelings that appear to be the aftermath of ancient genetic 'distortions' that lead to a chaotic soup that appears quite non-sensical. They could also stem from someone else.
I would like to improve the contact that I have with this emotional/feeling realm. At first I should determine if a feeling might be telling me something that I can use, that expresses something that needs to be understood and released. If a certain emotion or feeling lasts longer that, let's say, three days it is likely to be coming from the emotional chaotic soup and for the moment I don't want to invest too much energy in clearing up that area. Eventually I would like to fix that chaos as well. Perhaps I can try to venture into that realm further and further during the years.

When I come across emotions that I label as 'unconstructive' I can stop looking for any meaning in them and I can let my mental body disconnect from them, allowing my focus to change to something more useful.

What I think is important is that I welcome emotions and feelings as potential friends and not as some kind of enemies that need to be fought against. I intend to take the time to feel these emotions/feelings and listen to what they might have to tell me, and there is still a lot to be learnt in this field. I'm only just beginning.
