It is funny to notice how I tend to ignore things that I don't like to admit. I tend to talk to a few friends about my ascension process and all the things that I've been going through and all the things that might happen in the future.
I always try not to get too carried away during these conversations because I really spend quite a lot of thoughts and energy on all this. Last week it happened twice that I went on about how important it is to remove karma from your lineages. I talked about the lineage-poles and the karmic mud that needed to be washed off in order to see the needed records below (and the genetics needed to further alter the biology).
Not only did I have quite a few moments which I categorized as 'cathartic' because of some insights which referred to things that happened in my youth and how they influenced my life. I have had some impressive interpersonal interaction in which I returned or cut etheric cords which led to more energy and more time to spend on new steps. Then there are the physical changes which might point to my ascension process actually arriving in my physical body.
Despite all these things I didn't know what to say when people asked: "And, how much karma did you remove from your lineages?". Someone pendulumed my present genetic state and she said I was working in the tier from 4600-5200 components. So, here I would be, almost mastering 5000 strands without being able to describe any conscious karma-clearing beyond some possible things in my present life.
What about all these stories of ancestral karma that would be cleared during the ride? I haven't come across many ancestors consciously who showed me some of their karmic load. Nor did I consciously forgive a lot as far as the ancestors are concerned. The question that keeps on knocking on my head lately is: "What can I do to get more conscious of the possible karma-releasing activities that might be done on some unconscious level?".
During a recent page in the exploring section I mention the idea of 'ascending without conscious effort', but I conclude that this goes for the lower tiers of the process, but not for those reaching higher than 3000. Perhaps this 5000-thing is all a big lie and I only want to believe that I have reached such a level, or there are indeed a lot of things happening in the unconscious realms. Since I intend to ascend often it would allow for more things to occur in those unconscious realms.
In March 2005 I explored the body double realms (see Exploring Body Double Planes) and this led to the conclusion that there might be some part of me that has its own life and consciousness in a reality that would be 'one octave' higher than our present vibratory level on the physical. So, I am also unconscious about that part, but knowing that this part can take care of itself is reassuring.
Last week I tried to pay some attention to the light body planes in which the light body would reside. This light body would mostly resemble some kind of astral body which would stick around your body during daytime, but it would travel extensively during dreamtime. So, as far as I know this light body doesn't have its own life and friends as does the body double, but it does have its own capabilities apparently. It would be this light body that would digest karmic history.
In a SSoA-article from August 2004 we can read about the task of the light body in one of the so-called ascension temples. The ninth temple would be called 'The Temple of the Light Body'. Here's a quote:

This temple holds records of light body development at each phase of ascension. The light body is sometimes susceptible to manipulation during one's dreamtime travels. One can compare their light body to the records in this temple for the purposes of repair. Understand that there are two types of light bodies; one of which is a modified “astral” body that one’s consciousness travels during dreamtime, and this is the light body that we speak of.
Beyond the subtle bodies is a light body that one utilizes for dreamtime travel and work with the healing temples for ascension. One may consider this part of self “unconscious”. In dreamtime, one utilizes this body to work upon understanding the records released through one’s own ascension along with releasing and forgiving the karma necessary to one’s continued ascent. So, here I would be: ascending nicely with probably a well functioning light body who has probably delved through quite a lot of karmic load from my ancestors. I would like to get more involved in this karmic clearing, because I want to see some 'karmic proof' of this 'clearing phenomenon'. So, I guess it's time to make up a few intentions to catalyze this process. Here I go:
